When I first met the mister, I was in a serious relationship. I worked with him as a waitress (something I filed under things I'd never do again). Ironically enough, his younger brother and I were best friends. While I was busy working my way through high school in a relationship I was sure would be my last, he was four years old and working hard to 'sweep me off my feet'. We became close friends and with my relationship becoming more and more rocky, I couldn't have asked for a better friend. This poor guy tried it all and I was determined to make it work with another man, how he stood so strong is beyond me. I was at school when I found out that my current boyfriend had been unfaithful and I was crushed, frantically trying to get a hold of Mister to vent and more than anything, just hear his voice. I was angry that I wasn't receiving a response until I found out he was in a horrible accident, jumped for his heroism. I felt awful and two tragedies bonded us. I had never met a more romantic man, a more honest man, a man, period. We married on our two year anniversary and have been happily married since. Despite our many differences, him being agnostic, me a Christian, him being so machismo and me being so modest (the list goes on and on), we have become inseparable. This is our beautiful life.
